Immerse yourself in an evening of unparalleled swing and irresistible charm skillfully brought to life by the dynamic duo of singer Shelley Jones and trumpeter/singer Joel Gray. Together with the extraordinary High Society Jazz band, they will transport you back to an era where music was not just heard but felt, a celebration of the very essence of jazz.   Join us as we honour two of the most influential artists of the 20th century, Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong. Their melodies will resonate once again, painting the air with magic.  Paired with a beautiful four course meal from Spotlight’s kitchen, inspired by this unparalleled time period of jazz, it will be an unforgettable evening of incredible music and food.

How it Works: Your show ticket includes a soup AND salad, one entree from our Dinner & Show Menu, one delicious dessert and the show! You and your group will arrive at 6:30pm and be seated at your table in your comfortable velour seats. Please do not arrive late, late being after 6:45pm.  You can order cocktails and wine off of our menu and will enjoy your soup, salad and entree before the show begins.  The first set of the show starts after everyone is seated and served their soup, salad and entree.  After the first set dessert is served.   The second set begins and finishes off the show which ends at approximately 10pm.

Parking: There is a paid parking lot located behind us at the Southside Memorial Chapel on 83rd Ave with very reasonable prices or at The Old Strathcona Theatre District Parking Lot on Gateway Blvd.

Accessibility: Our space is wheelchair accessible via the elevator at the main entrance of our building which is located beside The Ripe Tomato on Whyte Avenue.  You must call us for wheelchair entry upon arrival as those doors are locked.  We will come down and let you in. Please leave us a “Note” when booking that you need a wheelchair friendly table.

Dress Code: While we have no enforced dress code, we are a 1920’s themed bar and we recommend you dress to have a roaring good time. Sparkles, glitter, glamour, and dandy attire will suit the decor of the space.

All courses are available Gluten Free or Vegan.  Please let your server know of your dietary concerns and allergies when you arrive.  If you have a severe or unusual allergy please email info@spotlightcabaret.ca ahead of time.

Tickets are non-refundable. With 48 hours notice prior to the performance, we are able to exchange the tickets to another performance or place the value of the tickets as a credit on file (conditions may apply).
